Willow was celebrated with a Bon Voyage party Saturday in Fondren where neighbors stopped by for one last stroke of her flowing mane and, a glass of red or white wine.

Now in his 23rd year of ownership, here in Fondren, Thornton said ready-to-sell inventory and customer service differentiate him from others in the business.

“It will be interesting from the community perspective to see (the Asylum Hill project) evolve. This will be a one-of-a-kind project for the entire country.”

Despite the growth, “The core has not changed — it’s local, it’s authentic, it’s delicious and it’s delivered,” Rob Peeples, co-owner of Feast, says.

“People have such fascinating lives,” says McCarthy. “It’s amazing how similar everyone’s family pictures are.”

“It’s just so energizing and humbling to be part of such a big and meaningful campaign – and it’s happening right here in Fondren.”

“It’s always a thrill,” Hilton said. “I just did portraits for the Wall Street Journal. I see it and think, ‘That’s my stuff, and I was working on it in Jackson.'”
