Denson and Tyra

Want a guilt-free treat that’s actually healthy for you?

Heather Denson and Paige Tyra say their shakes and loaded teas are the answer.

The business partners, former stay-at-home moms with older kids, have opened Fierce Nutrition at LeFleur’s Gallery next to Picadilly.

Offering up to 50 shake options and a dozen or so teas at a time, these meal replacement shakes and energy teas are all the rage.

“We’re excited about getting the community healthy and trying to give people healthier options,” says Denson.

Using Herbalife’s Formula 1 Healthy Meal Nutritional shake mix as a base, the shakes — with flavors like Snickers, banana nut and wedding cake — contain no dairy and no milk products. Most all shakes are gluten-free and range between 200-250 calories. The powder provides 24 grams of protein, low in carbohydrates, low in sugar and Keto-friendly.

“I’ve tried every shake and this is the best tasting shake around,” Denson says. “It’s hard to find something healthy, with all the minerals and vitamins, without it tasting like whey powder (Fierce Nutrition uses a soy-based protein).”

The loaded teas contain energy boosting ginseng and guarana, a plant that provides a high concentration of caffeine. They are sweetened with stevia and contain zero sugars and only 24 calories in a 32-ounce portion.

“You get tons of energy, a clean natural energy boost, so you don’t get the jitters like a Monster Energy or Redbull,” Denson explains.

A shake and loaded tea combo is $12; individually, shakes are $8 and a tea is $7. Customers who check in on social media get $1 off the combo.

Denson and Tyra say their shop is already a hit in LeFleur East.

“We love being able to help our community and have fun the same time,” Denson says. “We’re excited to meet the people in this area.”
