Patterson Photo Exhibit Opens at MMA
The Mississippi Museum of Art is celebrating the works of Fondren photographer James Patterson at the museum in downtown Jackson.
James Patterson: Life in Pictures, opened Sunday, July 15.
The exhibition of 30 works by Patterson is being called “a tribute to a life spent creatively capturing the people, places, and moments that make up the colorful tapestry that is our community, our state, and our nation.”
A well-attended reception included musical performances by Raphael Semmes, Denny Burkes, Barry Leach, Adib Sabir, Rhonda Richmond and Bernard Jenkins.
The exhibit is on display through August 2018.
