After announcing a move of his Highland Village men’s clothing shop last fall, Charlie Mozingo says he is happy for today to finally come.

“I’m pumped,” he said from his 1,300 square foot storefront on Duling Avenue, the new home of Mozingo Clothiers, opening Thursday, March 3.

Taking over the former Fischer Gallery and later lululemon Athletica showroom space, Mozingo is known for custom made suits and personal service. But he’s quick to note his product lines, “custom and not custom,” that include accessories, casual shirts, denim, underwear and skin care products, happy to serve those needs from his new space.

“I’m excited about being here with all that’s going on and the buzz of Fondren,” he noted. “The new store looks great and I’m glad to join this community.”

This Thursday and Friday, March 3 & 4, Mozingo welcomes Doug Moire, the national sales director for Agave Denim and casual sportswear, and tie designer Geoff Nicholson, to the store.

Mozingo Clothiers is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm, Saturday 10am until the last customer leaves and by appointment.
