jacksonbookEver wished you had your own book? You can – sort of – as Lemuria Books announces a custom dust jacket option for their upcoming Jackson: Crossroads of the South, a photo book by photographer Ken Murphy.

The 160 photograph coffee table book will showcase festivals, gardens, buildings, community events and more in this fourth photo book from Murphy covering the state.

The option for a custom cover was envisioned so that schools, organizations and businesses could purchase Jackson as a promotional gift for their supporters.

“We thought this book was so special that we didn’t want to keep it all to ourselves,” says John Evans, publisher and owner of Lemuria. “We think of this book as more than just a book. It is a product for Jackson about Jackson. We hope everybody will be proud of it.”

Local businesses are being invited to retail the book as well. Jackson will be made available by the case, each box containing 10 books. Custom dust jacketed books must be purchased at a minimum of 100 pieces. There is a fee to photograph your custom cover.

The suggested retail for Jackson is $75. The book will publish in the spring of 2014.
